SELA (Student Emerging Leaders and Artists)

High School Fellowship

The SELA (Student Emerging Leaders and Artists) fellowship selects 16 outstanding high school artists across the United States.

In weekly meetings over zoom, receive support and mentorship from accomplished Jewish artists from past Amen Institute fellowships. The high schoolers recieve guidance as they work on an art piece relating to a Jewish text.

Their work will be exhibited and published through The Amen Network's 40+ synagogues.

All fellows will also gain eligibility to receive a scholarship of up to $8,000 towards tuition at either Jewish summer camp or a gap year.

The first cohort of student artists will present their artwork in the fall.
